The project
Welcome to Alzaytoun Residences, where contemporary design meets refined execution to offer a complete living experience. More than a residence, a thriving community offering comfort, privacy, and quality living in Baghdad's green zone.
Reviving the relationship between humans and nature in Baghdad's heart. Inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Alzaytoun reinterprets this historical symbol with contemporary vision, merging green spaces with modern architecture.
Reviving the Hanging Gardens of Babylon in modern Baghdad.
How an idea became reality.
Every exceptional project begins with a question worth answering. For Alzaytoun, that question was simple: How can we revive the spirit of the Hanging Gardens in modern Baghdad?
For millennia, gardens have symbolized Iraqi civilization. Spaces where humans meet nature, where beauty and life converge. Rather than surrounding buildings with green space, we asked: What if green space is the building?
Alzaytoun Residences is not a residential complex with landscaping. It is a vision where nature is integrated into architecture itself. Every terrace, every pathway, every shared space is designed so that residents do not visit gardens. They live in them.
Drawing on 5,000 years of Mesopotamian heritage while embracing contemporary design excellence, Alzaytoun bridges past and future. It is a project that respects history, celebrates nature, and redefines what luxury living in Baghdad can be.
A design language rooted in purpose.
A vision rooted in heritage
Nature is not added as decoration. Architecture is built around it. Every green space is designed as a daily-life extension. Natural light, clean air, and greenery become standard amenities, creating an environment that is tranquil, balanced, and sustainable.
Life at Alzaytoun is measured by what you feel, not by square meters.
Living begins between gardens, extends through green pathways, continues in shared community spaces. Nature becomes part of every day.
The logo
The tree and circular emblem is a botanical illustration representing heritage, permanence, and natural integration. It carries the brand across signage, collateral, and environmental design.
Colour palette
Dark Forest Green (#2D4A3E) is the foundation: heritage, nature, permanence, and the literal landscape strategy. Gold and warm metallics (#C9A876) mark the luxury details and premium moments. Cream and off-white provide breathing room and readability. Neutrals support flexibility across all applications.
Typography
Playfair Display carries the headlines, premium moments, and heritage connection. Inter handles body copy, UI, and supporting text for accessibility. The hierarchy runs from H1 at 56-64px Playfair through to body text at 16-18px Inter. Usage extends to signage, unit naming (The Avenue Suite, The Panorama, The Crown Penthouse), and marketing materials.

Twin towers, connected vision.
Architectural overview
Two residential towers form an integrated architectural identity, connected by bridges that are both functional and sculptural. Vertical lines create a strong skyline presence, while cascading terraces and green spaces suggest movement and lightness, evoking the Hanging Gardens aesthetic with contemporary refinement.
Ground-level design prioritizes comfort and elegance: carefully planned entrances, open community spaces, and a balance between privacy and social connection.
